Who is NICO K?

Nico K is a multifaceted artist: poet, slammer and street artist. He writes (and shouts) his aphorisms on the walls of cities and social networks. He plays with the language and makes the words dance! Originally from Paris, he travels with his portmanteau words for concerts, performances and artistic interventions in situ: France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg... He participated in the musical compilation Original Slam (EMI), in poetic anthologies Le Slam: urban poetry (Ed. Mango) and Blah! (Ed. Florent Massot). He created the performance Beyond Street Art (Postal Museum) around original works by Banksy, Invader, Miss.Tic, L'Atlas... He was invited to improvise during the Carte blanche to Kery James ( Chaillot's Palace). For his work of visual poetry, he has been supported by the Ateliers Médicis as part of the artistic residency programs “Création en Cours” (2019) and “Transat” (2021). He designed L'Expoétique with the photographer Nicolò Revelli, Contes Défaits with the illustrator Cédric Bouquillon and participated in collective exhibitions such as Slam'manuscrits, TXT2, Objets Poétiques, Traits d'Union and L'expo des 150. He has pasted poetic posters in the streets of Paris and for the “Jardins d’hiver” festivals at the Champs Libres in Rennes (2019) and “Robien Libré” in St-Brieuc (2022). He produced three mural works for the Street-Art festival “Colors” in Paris (2023).
